My Dave, he loves paella. He loves to eat it, he loves to make it. So it's no surprise that we ate a LOT of paella while we were in Spain. We ate paella in nearly every city we visited (none in Granada, twice in Madrid), so that we could taste the different regional variants. I present to you "the Colors of Paella" (to be sung to the tune of Pocahontas' "Colors of the Wind"):
If only I can make it as tasty..or at least find a restaurant in MI that has good paella!

ReplyDeleteThe last one was my favorite (I think Katie's too)! It was highly recommended in the Rick Steve's guidebook, and he was right!
DeleteOne of the (many) dishes about which you wonder, how is this NOT wildly popular and all over the U.S.? Instead of say, coleslaw & baked beans. (Not a great comparison and very subjective, I know, but when you look at a menu...)
